Set yourself a goal with the NHS 'Couch to 5k' mobile app. This takes small steps over 9 weeks with a regular workout plan. Parkrun organise regular 5k events in Glasgow with thousands of participants each year. Get your trainers on and get ready for competition!

Glasgow FrontRunners (GFR) 

 

GFR is an inclusive community based outdoor running group for the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and/or Intersex (LGBTI) community. Runs are offered to suit all abilities from complete beginners to competitive athletes. Socialising usually takes place after every run in a nearby restaurant, however you do not have to attend.

SEMSA provide culturally sensitive sporting opportunities to the Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) community across Scotland. The organisation arranges various sporting activities such as football and badminton.
